Spider Original™

A lot of people ask why we named our original rubber compound after one of the creepiest creatures on the planet. In response, we ask them if they’ve ever seen a cute puppy climb up a completely vertical, soaking wet rock. No? We rest our case.

      Comments about Tirra:

Have used these sandals for walking and cycling long distances, also use them in and out of water on vacation - one of main reasons for purchase as they go effortlessly between the two with no loss of performance.
Only negative is after a full day's activity in sun they can be quite smelly, but no big deal just need thorough wash in soapy water & as good as new again.

      Comments about Tirra:

I have narrow feet and loved that I could adjust the front from2 separate straps, as well as the back. This allowed for an optimal fit during cold days, or swollen post-flight feet, or with socks.
I bought them in brown (in-store) which was actually a greyyish tone, very neutral. They worked great for hiking Macchu Picchu and walking around town.
Main issues were that they weren't as attractive on my feet as models such a Kayenta, as the straps were very thick and the base quite wide and bulky. Also the sole became quite slippery on hot hiking days when I was sweating, and this wasn't great for grip!

This is my second pair of this style from Teva, and I love both! They are so comfortable and work equally well on the beach or in the city. I have a pair in lime green and now in pink/apricot. Hope Teva never stops making this style!
