The popular kid's Teva Dozer has been completely revamped, and the result is a hybrid shoe that's better than ever. The Dozer III is still the go-anywhere, do-anything hybrid that its predecessor was, it's just in an even more streamlined and athletic-looking package. So if it's too hot for a hiking shoe, but too hazardous for a sandal, the Dozer III is the perfect solution.

    Comments about Dozer 3:

As a family of four, we have been wearing the Teva Dozer for as long as it has been made. Every year we get a new pair for the kids as their feet grow and Teva has been especially beneficial because our son needs the high arch support that only Teva offers in a sandal. We have also loved the Dozer because of the extreme grippiness of the sole on the sandal, allowing our kids to use this shoe for light day hikes and for water sports. Imagine my sad surprise to open the box containing the "new and improved 2011 Dozer" to find that the sole is more smooth than rugged (making it slippery on the pool deck when the kids went swimming this past weekend) and that the arch support that made Teva our go to choice, has been flattened enough that our son was complaining that his feet hurt. Teva, you disappoint with the new Dozer. Before I order a new pair for my daughter, I'll be returning the pair my son has and checking discount sites for last year's model.

      Comments about Dozer 3:

I love the Dozer collection. At first my husband turned me on to them. He loved how they looked, but I wasn't so sure. Now my husband and I both have two pairs each (adult size) and my 3 year old has gotten a new pair every year since she was one. I love them because they keep her toes from getting hurt when she plays, they are comfortable, and she cannot wait to put them on. These are one of the few shoes that she keeps on (sometimes she randomly takes her other shoes off, even if we are walking around in a store). Last year we were potty training and these shoes were purfect becasue if she had an accident all I had to do was wash them either in the sink then sprayed Lysol in them or seldomly I would just through them in the wash. They are also great shoes for theme parks. My feet, nor her feet, ever get as tired or hot as they do when wearing other shoes and if a ride has restrictions on what shoes can be worn (like closed toe or something) they are allways accepted.
I am very picky about the shoes that go on my feet, or my kids for that matter. This is partially due to the fact that I have had arthritis and other knee problems since I was young and these shoes are comfortable and reduce the impact I feel in my legs. I even know a nurse that wears these shoes when she is at work, on her feet all day.
In short these are well worth the price for the whole family!
