I used these shoes on a vacation walking on a lot of cobblestone streets. While they are pretty comfortable for most of the day, after wearing them a few hours they begin to smell really bad. Since then before I put them on I have to inundate them with baby powder to try to cover the scent. On a side note the adjustable strap was a bit long for me, when I would pull the strap tight the end would overhang and drag along the pavement.

Despite having narrow feet, I have happily worn Teva sandals for many years because they are so adjustable. I love my Teva flip flops as well, so I thought I would try these shoes and see if the elastic strap over the instep would provide enough adjustability. I added insoles to take up the excess space, and found they made the shoes too soft. Instead of comfort, the softness made them so squishy that I had a problem balancing. These are cute shoes, but I would recommend them only with reservations.
