Just what it looks like!

I's been great! Straps adjust well, Fits great. I would lean on going a size up if you are in the middle of two sizes though.

My go to sandals

By

I wear my Teva M Alps a lot during the summer. They are very light weight and comfortable. I think the only thing that could be improved on is the angle buckle. It's very large and does not conform around my ankle so it sticks out. If it were a buckle with a hinge so it could wrap around my ankle then I would give it 5 stars for sure.

No octopus sole??

By

from Alamo, CA

Pros

  • 14 point attachment
  • Great looking
  • Super secure

Cons

  • No octopus sole

Best Uses

I really want to buy these but not having the octopus sole is a deal breaker. Also, bring back the "no snap buckle" version please! I think they were called alp encinitas back in the day. My pair lasted for over 20 years and I still wear them. The points at which they attach have cracked but still going strong.

        • Literally anything.

I am a woman. I bought the mustard ones at the beginning of the summer because I liked the color the most. I love them so much that during the Fourth of July sale, i bought a black pair of the men's ones as well. (Mostly because the women's were sold out). I wear these to work, school, to hike and bike ride. Everything, from walking down to the beach to climbing on ladders and being on my feet all day at work. So comfy and I love the three strap design because there's more support for your foot than the Teva Originals. My most favorite Tevas for sure.

            Comments about Alp:

I regularly wear a 10 1/2 shoe size. I went with a size 10 for these sandals and they fit well and are fairly comfortable. I'd rate them a 9/10 for comfortability. They're very versatile which is what ultimately sold me on them. I don't feel they ever compromise my overall style, which is a common stigma for men in sandals. My only real complaint is that the straps at the heel aren't very long. The strap and clasp that goes around the ankle doesn't fit as well as I'd like it to personally. However I still wear them nearly every day and would/have suggest(ed) them to other people.
