We've had Tevas in the past and liked the look of this sandal. My husband and I each ordered a pair. Feet slip off the sole causing near falls walking on uneven terrain (even our yard)!!! Near falls x 3 caused by foot slipping on sole and ankle twisting. Not suitable for hiking. Not suitable for anything other than fashion on a hard flat surface. We wasted money on a pair for my husband and myself.

This is a very nice upgrade to tried and true design but softer sole and straps. Great comfort for all day wear in dry Arizona climate. Fantastic foot ware for anything except serious hiking. I can even wear to the office with thin socks for a dressier look with no problems. Close to perfect. I have narrow feet so when strap is snugged there is no velcro for the last end portion. I just sewed a 3/4 " fussy part on so the end flap stayed in place. Hard to make it exact for every wearer but
They are incredibly comfortable, look awesome, and are super lightweight. They would be the perfect sandal, IF the sole wasn't covered in fabric. They not only hold onto odors, but they do not wick away sweat or water! Seriously, don't buy these if you plan to use them outside. When the soles get wet they stay wet forever and cause what can only be described as the beginnings of trench foot and they smell, oh my god do they smell. I had to keep them outside of my room on a recent trip to Taiwan. I really wish Teva will take this feedback and make an improved knit, because everything else is awesome. But those two flaws make them unwearable for me.
Gotta say I'm a fan. My workplace is fortunately nice enough to allow for these kinds of shoes. I'm on my feet 8 hrs a day and my feet don't get tired or sweaty, such a nice change!
