Additional Information

Spider Original™

Spider Original™

A lot of people ask why we named our original rubber compound after one of the creepiest creatures on the planet. In response, we ask them if they’ve ever seen a cute puppy climb up a completely vertical, soaking wet rock. No? We rest our case.

Drain Frame™

Drain Frame™

Squish. Squish. Squish. Annoying, right? That’s the sound of your wet shoes slogging around. Drain Frame™ drains water like a sieve, saving you from the misery of waterlogged shoes.

Shoc Pad™

Shoc Pad™

You wouldn't ride a bike without a seat. The same logic applies for our Shoc Pad™ technology, which will give you a smooth ride without inhibiting your performance.

Mush® Infused Insole

Mush® Infused Insole

Now we're not necessarily splicing Mush® genes back in the T.I.D.E Lab to build a hybrid mutant insole, but we do have an insole that’s worthy of the Mush name.

  • Synthetic upper
  • Spider Original rubber outsole
  • Nylon shank
  • Microban® zinc-based anti-microbial treatment
  • Shoc Pad™ in the heel

Comfortable and rugged sandals great for walking

By

from Dunde, Scotland

Pros

  • Comfortable

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Hiking
    • Holidays

I wear these sandals a lot when the weather permits. They are extremely comfortable and the plastic clip lasts better than Velcro. The soles are springy and they provide a good grip on most surfaces. They are waterproof so good for wearing to the beach or pool.

    By

    from Dubai

    Pros

    • Breathes Well
    • Comfortable
    • Durable
    • Good Arch Support
    • Lightweight
    • Perform brilliantly in all terrains
    • Stylish

    Cons

    • None- I just want them in more colours

    Best Uses

    • At The Beach
    • Beach walking
    • Bumming around France
    • Hill walking
    • Theme parks
    • Travel
    • Walking anywhere and everywhere

I have worn active sandals and walking shoes for years. There are by far the best, including North Face or Columbia. I am about to order a pair even though my current 5 year old ones just look worn in. The comfort is excellent, comparable to Ecco orthopeodic work shoes, and there is very little breaking in needed.

I have worn these for 5 years doing 25km+ daily at least in all terrains, including cliff top walking in Norfolk, beaches, cycling around France, Orlando theme parks, city streets. Not just comfy and practical but pretty much indestructible.

In case it isn't obvious I love these shoes. We are off to Orlando next month and I will take only two pairs of shoes; this grey/green pair of Toachi plus my old blue/grey ones. The image I have added shows how they look after a few thousand miles! They now live in Dubai.

Now on my second pair. First ones lasted 5 years of heavy use every day for 4 months every year, in salt water tough conditions, whilst sailing in the Mediterranean. I am diabetic so protection is all important and these sandals have never let me down. Lets hope the "Same Again" last as long. Thanks.
